Itinerary

• Day 1

  Day 1:Delhi/Chandigarh to Manali

  • It's time to get Leh'd! The group will assemble at the pick-up point by 7 PM (tentative) in the evening.
  • We will begin our overnight journey to Manali. 

   

  Note: The pick-up point would be Kashmere Gate (tentative)

• Day 2

  Day 2:Manali Arrival

  • Upon our arrival in Manali, we'll check in to our designated hotels.
  • The rest of the day is at leisure. Travelers can explore the vibrant town, indulge in cafe hopping, handicraft shopping, etc.
  • Dinner will be served in the evening followed by an overnight stay in Manali.

• Day 3

  Day 3:Manali to Sarchu (177 Kms)

  • After early morning breakfast, we will head towards Sarchu while traversing through the iconic Atal Tunnel and Baralacha La (15,910 ft.). 
  • En route, we will also make a pit stop at Deepak Tal which is a pristine lake in the Himalayas. 
  • We will also be traversing the Zing Zing Bar as well as Suraj Tal which is yet another high-altitude lake. 
  • In the evening, we will indulge in some group bonding activities followed by dinner and an overnight stay in Sarchu. 

   

  Highlights of the day: Atal Tunnel, Sissu Valley, Keylong, Jispa, Darcha, Deepak Tal, Zing Zing Bar, Suraj Tal, Baralacha La. 

   

  Note : All travelers are strictly advised to acclimatize to the weather and indulge in the least physical activities in Sarchu.

• Day 4

  Day 4:Sarchu to Leh (230 Kms)

  • Post breakfast, we depart to Leh
  • En route, we will be traversing three iconic high-altitude passes which are Nakee La (15,547 ft), Lachung La (16,600 ft), and Tanglang La (17,480 ft)
  • We will also be riding through the enthralling Gata Loops which consists of 21 hairpin bends on the Manali Leh Highway.
  • We will also be traversing the iconic More Plains which is an aesthetic 40 Kilometer stretch of land & Upshi which is a tiny Ladakhi hamlet.
  • Lastly, we will visit the Shanti Stupa which is known for its beautiful white dome shape, statues, and intricate carvings.
  • In the evening, we’ll check into our designated hotel. 
  • Dinner followed by an overnight stay in Leh.

   

  Highlights of the day: Gata Loops, Nakee La, Lachung La, Pang, More Plains, Tanglang La, Upshi, Shanti Stupa.

• Day 5

  Day 5:Leh to Nubra Valley (130 Kms)

  • Rise and Shine! Today we will head out to explore the many wonders of Nubra Valley.
  • En-route, we will be traversing through the Highest Motorable Roads in the World, Khardung La (18,380 ft) which offers magnificent views of towering mountains. 
  • Upon reaching Nubra Valley, travelers can indulge in a Double Hump Bactrian Camel ride, ATV rides, and more. (on personal expense)
  • After indulging in thrill-filled activities, travelers will check in to our campsites.
  • Dinner will be served followed by an overnight stay in Nubra Valley.

   

  Highlights of the day: Khardung La, Hunder Sand Dunes, Nubra Valley. 

   

  Note : A hot-bucket of Water will be provided for freshening up in the morning at Nubra & Pangong Lake.

• Day 6

  Day 6:Nubra to Pangong Tso (180 kms)

  • We begin our morning by paying a visit at the revered Diskit Monastery that is one of the oldest and is home to the glistening 108 ft tall Maitreya Buddha Statue.Take some time to immerse yourself in the serenity of this place. 
  • After, we will head out to explore one of the most famed landmarks of Ladakh, the bewitching Pangong Tso - a lake that has been featured in many Bollywood blockbusters like 3 Idiots and Jab Tak hai Jaan. 
  • After riding through the wild yet beguiling terrains we will be reaching the lake around evening, you can take a few hours to just sit back and enjoy the surreal views.
  • Later, we will head back to our cottages and indulge in group bonding sessions as the sky lights up with a billion stars. (If weather permits)
  • Dinner and overnight stay at Pangong Lake.

   

  Note : Due to its altitude and location, Nubra and Pangong Lake do not have electricity at night. Travelers are recommended to be prepared for the same and enjoy the epic night skies.

• Day 7

  Day 7:Pangong Tso to Hanle (180 kms)

  • The road we will be taking today snakes through Changthang Valley, an undiscovered region of Ladakh that is beautiful beyond words. It is also famous for being home to elusive wildlife like Himalayan Red Fox, Kiangs and rarely snow-leopards. 
  • En-route we will be crossing tiny settlements like Chushul, Tsaga Village and Loma that offer picturesque views ideal for a rest stop. 
  • Today is all about the journey to Hanle, one of Ladakh’s highest villages that falls on the Old Silk Route that connected India to China. It is also home to India’s first and Biggest Astronomical Observatory boasting the biggest telescope. 
  • Upon reaching, we will check-in into our Hotels/ Homestays and take enough rest for the rest of the journey.

• Day 8

  Day 8:Hanle and Umingla Excursion Day

  • After a night spent stargazing, we will re-fuel our energy and set out to conquer the mighty Umling La - World’s Highest Motorable Pass perched at an elevation of 19, 024ft. 
  • Today is the day we forget all our fears and gear up for a ride of a lifetime. As you climb higher the barrenness and twisting turns will literally have adrenaline pumping through your veins. 
  • While you are at the top, you will find yourself surrendering to the out of the world views laid in front of you, truly a moment that will capture your heart. 
  • After the thrilling and memorable ride, we will head back to Hanle and spend the night capturing the night sky. The clear views of the milky way, shooting stars and more is a sight that is sure to leave an indelible mark on your soul. 
  • Dinner and Overnight stay in Hanle. 

   

  Highlight of the day: Conquering Umling La, Stargazing at Night

• Day 9

  Day 9:Hanle to Leh

  • Having spent an unforgettable week in Ladakh, today’s return journey will certainly make you want to capture every last detail of each scenery that passes by. After a delicious breakfast, we will head back to Leh. 
  • The views en-route are truly a sight to behold, make sure to capture every moment in your heart and mind. We will also be traversing through Chumathang Village on our way back, which is home to a naturally occurring Hot Spring rich in minerals. 
  • The entire journey will be a perfect ride to be grateful for this opportunity. We will also visit Shey Palace and Thiksey Monastery on the way, which gives you a deep insight into the Ladakhi heritage and traditions. 
  • We will reach Leh by late-afternoon and after taking ample rest, head out to the market to explore the Cafes and shop for souvenirs. 
  • Dinner followed by overnight stay in Leh.

  Day 10:Journey Back to Manali

  • After breakfast, start your journey to Jispa, a beautiful village surrounded by stunning landscapes.
  • We’ll take the same route we used to travel from Leh to Manali.
  • Reach Jispa by evening and relax after a long drive.
  • Overnight stay in Jispa

• Day 11

  Day 11:Transform from Jispa to Manali | Departure from Manali to Delhi

  • Wake up early and have breakfast.
  • Depart for Manali, enjoying the scenic drive through the mountains.
  • Upon reaching Manali, take some time to relax or explore briefly.
  • In the evening, board the overnight Volvo for your journey back to Delhi.
