Every biker, irrespective of their gender, dreams of going on a Leh Ladakh bike trip once in their lifetime. While they dream of a flawless journey, the reality does come into contact with a lot of shortcomings. Having understood that bikers are bound to stumble upon a few barriers on a rugged landscape like that of Leh and Ladakh, we’ve put in our best efforts to collate every information in this itinerary that will help them encounter any such difficulties on the way.
Leh, in ancient times, was the capital of the Kingdom of Ladakh. Situated at an altitude of almost 12,000ft offers exceptionally close views of this barren heaven.
Leh is blessed with tons of exceptionally gorgeous valleys and high-altitude mountain peaks.
You are also bound to be inspired by the local cuisine, arts, and culture the overall history of the people, and the way they go about their lives.

What is included in the tour

What is NOT included in the tour

  • Any kind of food and beverages that are not mentioned in the inclusions like Alcohol, Mineral Water, Meals, Refreshments, and Lunches during transit.
  • Any personal expenses like tips to drivers, entry tickets, photography/videography charges
  • and any kind of activities on the trip.
  • Any costing arising due to natural calamities like landslides, roadblocks, etc. (to be borne by the rider/traveler on the spot).
  • If you choose to use Razorpay as your payment method, payment gateway fees of 2.3% - 3% will be charged.
  • The gateway fee can be avoided by using the NEFT option.
  • Anything not mentioned in the inclusions.
Itinerary
Day 1:Arrival in Leh | Acclimatization Day
  1. After arrival in Leh check-in into your hotel
  2. Give your body a chance to acclimatize
  3. Later if your body allows going for a market hopping around.
  4. Dinner followed by an overnight stay in Leh
Day 2:Leh Local Sightseeing Hall Of Fame | Shanti Stupa | Magnetic Hills, And Pathar Sahib Gurudwara
  1. Wake up early morning and have your breakfast
  2. Post breakfast visit Hall of Fame, Shanti Stupa, Magnetic hills, and Pathar Sahib Gurudwara.
  3. Evening free for leisure
  4. Later visit some cafes and stroll around
  5. Reach Hotel by evening Dinner followed by sleep
Day 3:Leh to Nubra Valley via Khardungla Pass
  1. After breakfast head to Nubra valley via Khardungla
  2. You will be driven via the world& #39; highest civilian motorable pass, Khardung La.
  3. Drive to the white sand dunes of Hundar, where you will enjoy a double-humped camel ride
  4. Check-in at the hotel/camp/guesthouse in Nubra Valley
  5. If time permits, visit the magnificent Diskit Monastery
  6. Dinner and overnight stay in Nubra Valley
Day 4:Nubra – Turtuk and Back
  • This morning after breakfast. Drive to Turtuk, the northernmost village of India after Murgo Village.
  • Located in the Nubra Valley, on the banks of Shyok River and 2.5km from the LOC.
  • The route takes the visitor past the picturesque villages of Shey and Thiksey and turns off the Indus valley by the side valley of Chemrey and Shakti.
  • Return to the guest house in Nubra.
  • Dinner and overnight stay in Nubra.
Day 5 – Nubra – Pangong Tso Lake via Shyok Valley
  • Post breakfast. Drive to Pangong Tso Lake via Shyok.
  • The route takes the visitor past the picturesque villages of Shey and Thiksey and turns off the Indus valley by the side valley of Chemrey and Shakti.
  • Pangong Tso is a magnificent high-altitude alpine lake. It is also an endorheic lake (meaning it doesn’t flow out into the sea).
  • It is situated at an altitude of almost 14,000 ft, 134km long, and is divided into 5 beautiful sub-lakes.
  • Spend some time here at the lake soaking in the beauty of this majestic lake. It is also known to change it's color 4-5 times in a day depending on the sun’s reflection.
  • We will stay overnight at Pangong
Day 6:Pangong to Leh (230 Kms, 5 hrs Approx)
  • After spending a night under the starry skies and waking up to the beautiful view of Pangong lake, we will have breakfast early in the morning.
  • Traversing through Chang La Pass (17,800 ft), which is one of the highest passes in the world, we will head back to Leh.
  • En route, we will visit the Shey Palace which is popular for its 12-meter-tall gold-gilded statue of Buddha. We will also pay our respects at Thiksey Monastery, which is the largest Monastery in Central Ladakh.
  • Upon reaching Leh, we will check into our designated hotel where we will have dinner and spend the night.
  • Highlights of the day: Chang La, Shey Palace, Thiksey Monastery.  

    Note: Visiting Shey Palace and Thiksey Monastery are subject to time. 

Day 7:Departure from Leh
  • Take your return flight from Leh to your respective city

Rules And Regulations

 

  • Throwing garbage on trails is strictly not allowed.
  • Participants should carry their own waste with them
  • Playing loud music in the mountains is prohibited.
  • Writing anything or any activity leading to disobedience of historical places is prohibited.
  • Tents will be allotted as per male and female ratio by team captains, no requests will be entertained.
  • Pick up and drop will be at the same location ( however you are free to get down on the route while return journey.)
  • Team captains' decisions on any particular situation will be final for the mutual benefit of participants.
  • If the behavior of any trekker is likely to cause distress or harm to themselves, our member of staff or other team members, reserve the right to terminate their trip at any time and they will have to make their own arrangements; we will not be liable for any expenses incurred as a result. We will not entertain any claims arising due to such action.
  • In case of any injuries/illness on a mountain/river/waterfall during a trip/activity, Trek Panda as a company or our local staff will not be responsible. We provide adequate human staff support in these areas to ensure the basic safety of the trekker. The trekker/customer has to bear all the expenses which may arise in case of medical exigency or emergency condition.
  • As it is likely that in these sorts of trips weather must be taken into account, if conditions are such that we have to change arrangements we will not be able to provide any sort of refund. If there are any other circumstances including but not limited to riot, political unrest, natural or other disaster, nuclear incident, terrorist activity, and we have to cancel a trip as a result of these circumstances, we will not be able to provide any sort of refund.
