Locally called Vikatgad, Peb Fort Trek is considered as one of the most popular places to go monsoon trekking in the Raigad region of Maharashtra, near Neral and Matheran. Located at an altitude of around 2100 feet, this fort was an important watchtower for the Marathas in ancient times, protecting trade routes and nearby areas.
But in recent days, trekkers come here to explore its scenic routes, ladders, caverns and extensive views of lush valleys. Itinerary
- Day 1
Journey Beggins!
- 06:00 AM: Pick-up from BMCC College, FC Road, Pune.
- 06:30 AM: Pick-up from Xion Mall, Hinjewadi, Pune.
- 09:00 AM: Reach the base and board the taxis to reach the start of the trek.
- 12:00 PM: Reach the top of the fort, enjoy and explore.
- 02:00 PM: Explore and enjoy the magical views from the top of the fort.
- 03:00 PM: Start the descent to the fort and reach the taxi point.
- 04:00 PM: Reach Neral, have lunch and depart to Pune.
- 09:00 PM: Reach Pune, we will take a dinner halt on the way if it gets late reaching back.
