Overview

Dandeli: Mentioned as the adventure capital of South India, Dandeli is synonymous to peace and adventure. Located in the rocky trails of the Western Ghats, Dandeli is a splendid city of Karnataka. This place is situated at an altitude of 1551 ft above sea level. Dandeli is made up of trails and a green environment. The beauty of this place resides significantly in the adventurous hikes and beauty of Western Ghats. The untouched green landscapes house a staggering range of flora and fauna. Apart from the adventurous activities, there are several historical places including the Ulavi temple, ancient caves of Kavala, and much more. An integral part of the Western Ghats, Dandeli is home to colossal mountains, nature reserves, and fascinating wildlife. This place is an incredible destination for every kind of traveler. You can head on to the Kali river for a range of watersports, then, stop by Dandeli Wildlife Sanctuary, or hike on to the Syntheri rocks and engulf the maddening peace and beauty of the Western Ghats; Dandeli is a complete package of fun, peace, and adventures.

Gokarna: With its pristine beaches and breathtaking landscapes, Gokarna is a Hindu pilgrimage town in Karnataka and a newly found hub for beach lovers and hippies. Situated on the coast of Karwar, every year Gokarna welcomes hordes of tourists from around the world in search of sanctity and relaxation. The out-of-town beaches like Kudle beach and Om Beach are a different contrast to life inside the town. Palm clad beaches are dotted with foreign tourists in a majority and very few Indians are seen across. Gokarna is not very conventionally touristy. The beaches are meant for a slow, relaxed holiday and everything on the beach goes at the same relaxed pace. Full of coconut and palm trees, the ocean, and clean sands, Gokarna is a 'one of a kind' place in the country.

Hampi: Hampi is a fantasy world of rocks and ruins; a carnival of cravings. The magnificent ruins of Hampi dot an unearthly landscape that has captivated travelers for centuries. Heaps of giant boulders perch precariously over kilometers of undulating terrain, their rusty hues offset by jade-green palm groves, banana plantations, and paddy fields. Let’s pack our bags to get adventurous with the Hampi trip.

Badami: Located in the Bagalkot district of North Karnataka in India, Badami was formerly called Vatapi. Badami Chalukyas had this place as its capital between 540 AD and 757 AD. This place is quite popular for its cave temples that are cut out of sandstone rocks that surround Agastya Lake. Three of the four cave temples are dedicated to deities of Hinduism and one temple is dedicated to Jainism. A flight of stairs within connects these cave temples to each other. The first temple is dedicated to Nataraja, the second and third cave temples to Lord Vishnu, and the fourth temple to Lord Mahavira the founder of Jainism. The Government of India has declared Badami as one of the heritage cities in India.
